UNEDITED FOOTAGE of the world's preeminent canine artist, Tillamook Cheddar, working in her home studio, in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, New York. Accompanied by her son Doc Chinook Strongheart Cheddar, and her assistant Bowman Hastie. The first 6:09 of Part 1 shows preparation of materials -- non-toxic Shiva brand oilstick (Pthalo blue) rolled out on vellum paper, placed paint-side down on Aquarelle Arches watercolor block, then covered with sheet of clear mylar, and taped on the bottom of watercolor block. This "recording device" allows Tillie to create an original monoprint, by making impressions with her claws, teeth, paws, and tongue. Part 2 shows Tillie at work. Work stops at 2:44 of Part 3 and the finished piece is revealed at 4:24.
